The following photographs are of animals that have been cared for at the Hospital. Most have been orphaned as a result of motor vehicle accidents or other human activities.

Angel lost her sight as a result of a motor vehicle accident when she was a joey.

Brixley - Five year old Southern Hairy Nose Wombat.
Brixley was orphaned on the Nullabor Plain and flown down from Kalgoorlie.
Brixley the wombat wrapped in a doona on her dog bed with sheepskin underlay. Much more comfortable than a cold, damp burrow.
Peanut - Rottnest Island quokka.
Quokkas cannot be returned to Rottnest Island for fear of introducing a mainland disease to the island quokkas.
Snorkel the Echidna.
Snorkel was hand reared from a "puggle" after being dug up by the local Fire Brigade cutting a fire break.
Red kangaroos and Euros hand reared or rescued by the Hospital.
Reds and Euros are not native to the Perth Hills and therefore cannot be released from the Hospital.
"Tyred" Red kangaroo.
Liz and Western Grey kangaroos undergoing "soft release".
Western Greys are native to the area and can be released from the Hospital. They come and go from the adjacent bush reserve.

Sugarplum has been undergoing soft release for about 16 years.
